Installation

Get started with Hyperstone by downloading and installing the application on your system.

Prerequisites

Before installing Hyperstone, ensure you have:

  • Operating System: Windows 10+, macOS 10.15+, or Linux (Ubuntu 20.04+)
  • Godot Engine 4.x: Download from godotengine.org (opens in a new tab)
    • Recommended: Godot 4.6 or higher
  • Internet Connection: Required for cloud features and collaboration

Download & Install

Windows

  1. Download the latest Hyperstone installer (.exe) from the releases page
  2. Run the installer and follow the setup wizard
  3. Launch Hyperstone from the Start Menu or desktop shortcut

macOS

  1. Download the latest Hyperstone .dmg file
  2. Open the DMG and drag Hyperstone to your Applications folder
  3. Launch Hyperstone from Applications (you may need to allow it in System Preferences → Security & Privacy)

Linux

  1. Download the latest .AppImage or .deb package
  2. For AppImage: 
    chmod +x Hyperstone-*.AppImage
./Hyperstone-*.AppImage
  3. For Debian/Ubuntu: 
    sudo dpkg -i hyperstone_*.deb

First Launch: Account Setup

When you first launch Hyperstone, you'll be prompted to create an account or sign in.

Creating an Account

  1. Click Sign Up on the welcome screen
  2. Enter your email address and create a password
  3. Verify your email address (check your inbox)
  4. Complete your profile with your name and optional details

Signing In

If you already have an account:

  1. Click Sign In
  2. Enter your email and password
  3. You'll be taken to the main dashboard

Troubleshooting

Email Verification Not Received

  • Check your spam/junk folder
  • Wait a few minutes and try resending
  • Ensure you entered the correct email address
